The Vocations Director is appointed by the Archbishop. The Very Rev. Fr. David Otieno is the serving Vocations director of the Archdiocese of DCCI.

The vocations office is tasked with the coordination of vocation animators and activities within the Archdiocese. The office also oversees the animation committees at the Diocesan, Deanery and parish levels. These committees comprise of priests, religious and the laity. Under the vocations office, open days for missionary and vocational animation are laid out in the General year plan of the church where all vocations are promoted.
